MoneyBookers - Need help!

    Hello,

I have $50 sitting in my MoneyBookers. However, whenever I try to send the money to someone, it asks me for my date of birth - I input it, and it says it's wrong. I guess I made a typo during signup or something, I don't see an option to reset/change my DOB. Any ideas of what I can do to resolve the issue?

    John

Well, technically the date of birth usually do not change because it is a fixed time in the past which cannot be repeated again. You may want to write to Moneybookers and explain the situation and also fax them a certified copy of your birth certificate to prove that it is a typo.

Do you think there is anyway I can retrieve this information instead of changing it?

Don't think you can since they are not shown for the account holder's protection.

I supposed you are from the US and Moneybookers is UK based, they could have stored the dates as DD MM YY instead of MM DD YY. Try inverting your day with your month and see if that works.

You can change the DoB by sending them a faxed copy of your real DoB certificate.

try the simple things first! use the hit and trial method, you will get it in a few tries!!

perhaps you should talk to money bookers straight, am sure they will co-operate!:)

If you cannot get the right DB contact moneybookers support. I suppose they will help you in this situation. Probably they will ask copy of your passport, driver's license etc..
