I am in the way to start a SEO firm.So I am having some questions for DP's Great SEO geeks ! 1) What all services I need to provide in my SEO firm Is , Article submission,Directory Submission,Link Exchange are enough ? 2) I am going to start it with some human resource for dir and article submission.Will it work ? Then where all I can market my service other than in DP ? Please help !
Just curious. How can you start a firm if you don't know the services you are offering? Just curious. Anyway, your company can be specific to link building or more general whichever suits your comfort zone. In addition to article and directory submission, link exchange, PPC management, content generation, media buying, SEO-friendly copy writing and traditional on-page optimization are also your options.
Man, I don't want to sound like a downer here but this is why those of us who do know search to a good degree get flogged for references and get clients who are so skeptical when they hire us for jobs. If you're going to start an SEO firm you'd probably want to know what services most SEO firms offer and be an expert in all of them.
I agree, I suggest you offer first a specific seo services that you're comfortable with. Then as you go along you can offer more SEO services.

I'd recommend clearly stating that is what you will be doing for your clients, then. When you say SEO these days, most clients think you're going to do an all-inclusive search campaign (sometimes people I talk to expect I'll run PPC campaigns for them too, even). I'll gladly do all of the above, but the more they want, the more I charge.
Don't promise services if you can't fulfill them. The temptation to promise is there if your case isn't too persuasive or if competitors offer those services.
