Not a surprise since a HUGE chunk of myspace users are using photobucket to upload their images..

that's interesting..since just under a month ago myspace blocked photobucket videos probably hoping to lower the valuation of photobucket for possible buyout haha...but photobucket didn't falter and survived the block...and myspace bought em anyways

    it seemed inevitable

Personally, I'd love to see Myspace spending their money getting their own services working properly before buying other companies...

Anyone know what the price was on this? I'd be interested to find out what photobucket was worth.

so it'll probably end up at $300 million, the value that photobucket gave to itself earlier..

it makes you wonder if myspace is looking to buy other widget sites and ban all other widgets

Some owners just don`t want to sell. Like the owner of facebook, he got more intel on people than the CIA so he will never sell. Except to the CIA of course. Tinfoil: I think CIA owns facebook already.

I dont think myspace will get imageshack..why would they? they have photobucket which is much better then imageshack. I dont understand why myspace didnt have their own build in image hosting.

More control over whatever is being put on their site! Plus they'll be making money off it too!
