There is nothing you can do to stop another site from linking to you. As long as you aren't linking back to them, you have nothing to worry about.

It gives your site backlinks? But because of the content in the site.. which isn't so good.. your site is somewhat associated with it..

If you dislike it that much.. a change in domain.. could work, but that's a bit extreme.

Yes this is happening to me too but they keep taking the links down and adding me to 100s of new domains. They also keep using the same title and description. This is happening on one of my domains that is in the -950 deal (well actually -750) for keyword in my title.

yeah google said you can not control the people and no. of links who links to you. It would be fine if you dont link back to those bad and irrelevant sites.

Definitions of emergency on the Web:

    * An emergency is a situation that poses an immediate threat to human life or serious damage to property. A false report of an emergency is usually a crime.
    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emergency

    * A sudden and usually unforeseen event that calls for immediate measures to minimise its adverse consequences. An emergency occurs after a disaster when an immediate response is required and local capacity is insufficient to address and manage traumatic events. Emergencies may involve deaths, injuries, displacement of people, disease, disability, food insecurity, damage or loss of infrastructure, weakened or destroyed public administration and reduced public safety and security. ...
    www.irinnews.org/webspecials/DR/Definitions.asp

    * A sudden, unexpected event requiring immediate action due to potential threat to health and safety, the environment, or property.
    www.it.jhu.edu/etso/dr/industry/glossary.html

What was your definition of 'emergency' again??!! :D

Google's not even going to listen to you!!!! They can't make other sites take links off!! You'll be lucky to even get an automatic reply from a robot!!!!

As long as you aren't linking back, it doesn't matter who is linking to you.

you can not effect the people who are linking to you. the key factor is that you are linking to that site or not

Seems like Google should implement a system, where you can list a domain that you don't want displayed in association with a link check on your site.

    Couldn't hurt anybody.

Yes, I wouldn't worry about it. I get them occasionally. All kinds of weird sites will link. It'll go away, people generally don't give out links for free. =)

Email the webmaster of the site and tell them to remove your link on their site.

I had a bunch of casino and gambling sites that had linked to my insurance sites. I emailed the webmasters and most were happy to remove the links when asked. Some didn't but what else can you do? Try asking mice and see what happens.
