Nevada to vote on legalizing marijuana

Legalise! Where did anyone get the idea from that some people are so powerful they can ban ..a plant..

It grows on the sides of some US roads for God's sake..

All the bullshit that the government spouts about weed is just that, bullshit. I hope they do legalize it and all the other states start legalizing it. If the people speak, those in power DO have to listen...federal or not. The only harm I've ever seen from usage of weed is from the laws made against it. It's one of the most useful and harmless plants on this planet. I can not say I've seen no harm come from alcohol or the poisons cooked up by the drug companies. I live in an area where pills are VERY badly abused. And, there are a lot of alcoholics in my family and my husband's family....no good ever came from any of this shit. Weed has been around since forever, and there is scientific proof that it is harmless,and even good for you in so many ways. It's the drug companies and others who want to keep the competition illegal. After all, you don't get hook on their pills they don't have a steady supply of drug-addicts spending everything they make for the over-priced poison. Doctor's get kick backs from being government approved drug dealers for the companies. After all, remember this, the AMA doesn't make money from healthy people. They don't really treat the disease, they only treat the symptoms.

 

I have seen quite a bit of damage from marijuana. Most of the long-term marijuana users that I know have noticeable mental impairment.

And that is their right. It's their choice. They must make their own decisions and bear the natural consequences of them.

It is not the job of the U.S. taxpayer to bear the cost of preventing these people from expressing their free will.

It is also not the job of the U.S. taxpayer to bear the costs resulting from the damage these people have caused to themselves through the exercise of their free will.

It's time to get the U.S. government out of the mommy business.

Well it does in fact kill brain cells, and those do not re-grow... Things I notice in those that have spent way too much time getting stoned are things like short term memory loss, an inability to concentrate on anything that is not based in reality, among other things...

Stoned people suck at sex... They seem to think it's all good, even better than doing it sober, that's just not the case however.

They drive damned slow too!

Actually there was a study that showed in rats it protects brain cells from dying when the brain is damaged. Source

In theory, if you drank alcohol and smoked weed at the same time, the weed might protect you from the brain damage alcohol causes.

 

I'm sure there are studies that condone and justify pedophlia, too. Studies tend to be constructed to derive a desirable outcome, much like polls...
