I am still trying to communicate with the company. As of a few days ago, one of my emails bounced back but yesterdays and todays emails have not bounced back. As soon as I know anything, I will let you know as well. Thanks.
I did not oversell, I simply made a bad business decision, unbeknownst to me. Although most of my customer sites are own my own dedicated servers, some are placed on reseller hosting accounts. One of the companies I dealt with decided to just up and leave and leave hundreds of people stranded. Myself, and my customers included. I have since set up accounts on my own dedicated servers and am now in the process of trying to at least get the files back. As soon as I know anything further, and email will be sent to those who were affected by this.

Yep, you are right. Problem was on my end all along (I'm going to go ahead and blame this one on Vista). I appreciate the awesome support. I really do. Sites are working fine from every computer except for mine, lol. Thanks again. And yes, all the files are still there.
Not a problem. I myself just took the plunge to Vista on several of my computers and my kids computers and boy am I in the dog house with the kids and my computers are now better off as paper weights, heheh.
hosting plan is great !!! c´mon price does indicate quality and my sites time out constantly . I cannot even get a directory to accept the url because it times out. so my link building is on hold. I have other companies trying to access the website and they complain they cannot .. ..problem is "server not found" I cannot access my cPanel to get some files. need email proof ? I got that too. since my PMs have not been answered..maybe thru the forum it will. I like a refund for the unreliable hosting. maybe you are good at whatever else you sell but the hosting is just plain bad.
can you not find different method of cantacting the host eg telephone this way it may be quicker to get our files back.
I would like to know who are the clowns who have my files to my websites ? So that I can see if I can take any type of legal action. Just one of my sites has cost me over $1500 in web design fees and it is in the early days of construction. If my files are lost it is going to cost me $1000's to start again.
I'm sorry I have to do this but this is not looking good... I have a 'Web patrolman' installed on my desktop. It blinks whenever any of my sites are down. And during these 2 weeks, it's blinking non-stop. It turns out all 2 of my sites hosted with you are down... I have waited patiently hoping things will be settled eventually. And in good faith giving you ample time you rightly deserve to solve this... But as I said, it's still not looking good and it has been a while.... I am among the affected but I didn't think I receive any emails from you regarding this. I'm not sure how you'd handle my case. Since you've got a lot in your hands already, I wont trouble you. I'll try make it easier... You said those affected are only the ones on your reseller accounts , i.e. with the 'Company', and the rest who are safe are on your own dedicated servers. I'm affected ,so I guess the only solution is to be removed from the 'Company' and on to your dedicated servers. You could just PM me the new nameservers where your dedicated resides and I'll change from there. I guess I'll just have to leave my old files there. Afterall, I'm done waiting... My current nameservers are ns.jollyhosts.com / ns2. Please PM me ASAP.
his PM is genuine offering a refund but after investigation is evasive & deceitful as his intent is to display a trusted service.. I asked for a refund for hosting as his servers never worked for me. he offered to swtch me to a 3rd sever in 30 days. I lost links in directories and clients went elsehwere since ***server was not found **** Look at the fine print BELOW - 7 day refund policy... heck my site wa snot uip and runnign for 4 days after sign-up. ****** BEWARE OF THIS CHARACTER **** NOT A GOOD BUSINESS PERSON *** As per our AUP (http://www.webberco.com/aup.php): "Refunds & Money Back Guarantee We will honor any refund request received within 7 days of receiving payment. Due to our low prices and high server costs, we feel that 7 days is ample time to test out the servers. If you do not agree with this, please do not sign up. This policy is strictly enforced. (Refunds will not be honored if your account was closed or terminated for violation of this AUP even if within the initial 7 days of opening your account.)" Your hosting account is over 1 month old and as such, I would be more than happy to switch your account to a newer server, however, a refund is not an option at this point.
