i have posted articles regarding my blog on digg and a few forums etc. i have already got a few backlinks for my site and blog. However, the page rank and backlinks are still too low. i got PR 0 what else can i do to increase the PR and also the backlinks??
get links from related sites.....SEO and linkbuilding is an ongoing and never ending job....don't focus on increasing your pr...pr will not bring you traffic.....focus on the quality of links instead of the quantity...
well i have exchanged links with some of the blogs related to similar topics... infact, i am getting a decent traffic from them as well. but i need to be listed in google and other SE's on a satisfactorily good position as most of my users are those who would prefer searching me on google/other SE's rather than visiting my site directly
Just get more quality links. I think backlinks is not the only elements consider by google in giving PR. But as of now I don't have proof. I just notice that even the site has only one backlinks it can have PR3 like the other site that has many PR.
Build backlinks by directory submission, and forum signature links (you must post frequently if you want more but do not make it look like a link spam).
