I've deceided after all these Pm's, emails and reply's get here from people wanting to know how to market a site, I'd start a challenge.

The challenge is to get 20'000 new uniques to your site this month . So what you have to do is list your site here that you are going to market then list the ways in which you are going to market this site.

Then day by day you give us an update on how it's going and what you are doing.

Why do this challenge well it gives people new to marketing a chance to see how people market there sites and what works.


My Site I will be marketing
Is my blog in my signature, I will be using Digg, Reddit, Forums and Article Submission to promote site.

so is it 10,000 or 20,000? Your title reflects 20,000 but the post reflects 10,000

Last month my site http://www.fataussie.com had only 1,200 uniques for the month.

Dont know how I will get it to 11,000 uniques, but I will try!

Social bookmarking will have to be my best friend!

write something contraversial or funny and bookmark it on digg you can go upto 100000..... i guess.

Ok after a weekend of submitting my articles to as many article directories as possible , I've managed to get an extra 1000 uniques over the weeknd.

 

Wow! submitting articles to article directories got you 1000 uniques over the weekend? Can you share the article sites you submitted to, or just the stats? How many articles submitted, to how many article sites?

Also, did it help in sales, earnings, back links etc?

Ok, I'm entering the Marketing Challenge with my SEO Blog, although its been 3 days since the challenge started. The blog got around 500 unique visitors in April last month, which is nowhere near the target for this challenge. Lets see what happens

I was just wondering that for a 20,000 unique vistors target in a month, I'll need to get around 1,000 uniques every day for the next 20 days on average to be able to meet this challenge

 

I know will be hard but that's what makes it so interesting casue if we all find something that works and we can all benefit from it will be great

One of my article on StumbleUpon brought in around 50 unique visitors to my site today. Still a long way to go to reach my 1,000 unique visitors target for today. lol
