Microsoft wants to buy Yahoo for 50 Billions!

    Some news :D (in case you dont know already)

    In an attempt to fight Google which is growing 3 to 4 times faster than Microsoft and yahoo, Microsoft may buy Yahoo for no less than 50 Billions!

    that's a nice milestone! unfortunately i have already crossed!!

    anyways, microsoft has plans to buy, but i don't think yahoo has any plans to sell out! perhaps a partnership they may be willing to get in:rolleyes:

    yahoo is a publically traded company...and i don't think (notice i'm guessing) the owner holds a majority vote in the stock...so it's really not up to him...

    (by the way...anyone know who the owner is...i couldn't seem to find it...)...i know Jerry Yang and David Filo are the founders..but it doesn't say if they still own it...

    Me too, haven't seen this on DP... anyway, that's some kinda cool news. Just in case they got Yahoo, then that would be a more interesting battle with G! :)
