There was plenty of people before this so called Jesus. The history of Christianity is interwoven with wars and killings and Christian societies have been responsible for invention of the most efficient killing machines in the history. You can almost say that Christianity introduced the efficient large scale mass killing to the world. ;)

Gworld if your referring to the book of revelation, jesus kept it vague for a reason. We would have learned nothing if he told us exactly what would happen next would we?

Or may be because some unknown writers of bible had no idea what is going to happen in 2000 years after them and tried to make up fantasy stories according to that time superstition as best as they could. :D

We don't even need to go that far or look at history for examples of the massacre of different sects in Christianity by other Christians to see how the idea of God and life after death has always been manipulated to an instrument of war and killing.

Just look at "conservative Christians" in this forum and while any decent normal human being will be upset and outraged by the death of women and Children or use of torture, these "God fearing Christians" are cheering and applauding such actions.

There's a slight problem with that picture.

The Catholic church openly denounced the Nazi party and kicked all Catholic Nazis out of the church. Those "Catholics" in that picture were no longer Catholic.

But, let's keep pretending that Hitler was religious.

He used religion as a tool to control people but saw no use for it in the event that Nazism took over. Communism slaughtered somewhere around 10 million people and expressly forbids religion. Socialism (which Hitler was going for) has no place for religious. Socialism is inherently atheist.

Another church that flew Nazi flags was the Mormon church. Mormon church doctrine requires obeying the government.

Interesting that Hitler chose to use false priests to control people considering that such churches frown upon questioning authority.

I'm sure that's exactly what Gworld was pointing out. He is known for his intellectual honesty around these parts.

Is that something like false Imams that Muslims talk about?

The pope did not forgive Jews for killing Jesus until 1967 or 22 years after the end of WWII.

    Catholic extermination camps

Surprisingly few know that Nazi extermination camps in World War II were by no means the only ones in Europe at the time. In the years 1942-1943 also in Croatia existed numerous extermination camps, run by Catholic Ustasha under their dictator Ante Paveliç, a practicing Catholic and regular visitor to the then pope. There were even concentration camps exclusively for children!
In these camps - the most notorious was Jasenovac, headed by a Franciscan friar -orthodox-Christian Serbians (and a substantial number of Jews) were murdered. Like the Nazis the Catholic Ustasha burned their victims in kilns, alive (the Nazis were decent enough to have their victims gassed first). But most of the victims were simply stabbed, slain or shot to death, the number of them being estimated between 300,000 and 600,000, in a rather tiny country. Many of the killers were Franciscan friars. The atrocities were appalling enough to induce bystanders of the Nazi "Sicherheitsdienst der SS", watching, to complain about them to Hitler (who did not listen). The pope knew about these events and did nothing to prevent them. [MV]

Let's look at present history and 1994 Rwanda:

Or how about 200,000 Muslims that were killed by Christians in Bosnia?

Don't kid yourself, Christianity is as blood thirsty as any other religion and your posts in this forum are one of the best proof of that fact.

Jesus spoke in parables to seperate the believers from non-believers. Those who need to understand what he is saying understand it.

Revelations is vague because the things in heaven are being described in human terms. It's also not possible to know for certain who the beast, the false prophet or the dragon are. One of them is Satan specifically but who the other two are is anybody's guess. Chances are that numerous people in history have filled those roles for Satan's purpose.

The events that will happen prior to the second coming are very clear. The mistake people make is missing the fact that the parable about the wheat and the weeds is talking about the rapture. Is there an opportunity given to the weeds to repent? Nope. The righteous are gathered and the wicked are torched right then and there.

Makes for a very short movie though.

False second coming where Satan is worshiped as God in a temple
Some period of time where nearly everyone is fooled by him
The real second coming where the righteous are gathered up and the wicked along with the old heaven and earth are destroyed

That's your judgement right there. There is no "court" battle to defend yourself.

That fact that you think I am religons speaks volumes about your intelligence or in reality lack of it as I never said anything of the sort.

In reality I am not religious period. I neither believe nor disbelieve in the existence of a god. Your logic is seriously flawed and as someone in this thread stated and the people who left me positive rep stated, I have pointed out how stupid you are.

Still waiting for one single evidence about the non-existence of your enemy, Jesus. :D

Since you are very knowledgeable about these thing and read the bible, how about you enlighten us about the real identity of easter bunny and Loch Ness monster? :D

It is unbelievable that in this age and time, some one can still believe in these type of ideas without being committed to a mental institution.

You are just in love with your imaginary friend Jesus but you are not religious. Don't you know that according to your religion, you should not lie?

I am sure the crazy people who speak of Satan and second coming have left you positive rep, it is very common that delusional people will find support and comfort among each other.

Still not a single evidence about the existence of Jesus with exception of your common delusions. :D

What religion? Even if I did beleive in a god, that still doesn't pinpoint a specific religion

So I guess the sane people never stick together? Seeing as how you're the only one on your side of the fence in this thread. It's usually the crazy people that go off on rants on their own :)

Satan is going to have a second coming????

Everytime you say that, I ask you to give evidence that god doesn't exist and you can't. You can neither prove nor disprove God so stop repeating yourself. You might as well add that as your signature. It'd be a lot easier... :D

Since you can not prove God or Jesus, it puts them in the same category as Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, Mickey Mouse and Loch Ness Monster. If you are happy with your fantasy friends, there is no point for me to argue that you should give up your delusions. ;) :D

even non-christian historians agree that Jesus lived. and that the accounts recorded in the bible line up with historic documents. if you dont believe Jesus was the messiah then thats your problem but to deny that he existed is completely retarded.

No, if you believe Biblical prophecy then Satan is going to appear and people will think it's the second coming and worship him as God.

I can see you are newer here on the forums, you can search gworlds posts and see this is nothing new for him. The only ones you see him not attacking are muslims and Canadians. (I am thinking Canada will be all muslim in a short period of time, since many Canadians seem to think that islam is peace.)

Instead of making baseless claims, try to find one of those historians that shows a single proof for Jesus existence and post it here.

why don't you find proof that he didn't? Even those that say he was never God don't question that validity in the facts that there was a man named Jesus who walked around on the earth.

Among other things that I don't have proof that doesn't exist are Santa Claus, tooth fairy and Loch Ness monster, so your Jesus is in the same category.

How can you believe in something that there is no proof for it's existence?

Why did Jesus say on the Cross that "Oh Lord! Oh Lord! Why has thy forsaken me?" if he knew he was getting crucified?

Anyway, I would really like you people to watch this before criticizing what I said.
