If google buys ff or mozilla they also get into the field of browser and have a competition with microsoft

so what do you guys think abt this

 

Firefox is managed by the non-profit Mozilla Foundation. So the answer is absolutely no.

 

Google already bought Firefox.

The question isn't "will they buy" but "when they buy". They buy everything

 

I don't see why not - if Mozilla are agreeable. Even if Mozilla aren't agreeable G has enough muscle power to influence their shareholders. It would be a very shrewd investment if you ask me.

I have a really good 2nd hand fridge/freezer for sale. Only asking $150 for it. I am sure they can turn that into a Google product???

I would have enjoyed the poll option of "has Google already tried to buy" it.

With their resources, they could probably buy and manage almost anything that's available.

I'd imagine that they even have business plans filed and researched for stuff that's not even up for grabs yet.

 

Firefox makes 10's of millions from the google search bar, non-profit, sure.

 

I don't think so. It's always been Mozilla as far as I know. The Mozilla Corporation, although also being based in Mountain View, is a seperate entity to Google.

 

Makes a hell of more sense then buying Performix.
