From an affiliate's point of view, a publisher like yourself will be more successful if you could provide us with the necessary promotional materials like reviews of your products, related web content, banners, ebook graphics, keyword tracking or even a full-fledge affiliate area where campaign stats are readily available.

Am I asking too much? :p

Many people have success as publishers. Those that do best are usually those who are already merchants for many other products, and thus have a good understanding of what it takes to promote and have others promote the product well.

Is it possible to use CB only as a payment gateway? I'm not interested in affiliates for the product I mean to sell, I only need a reliable payment processor.

Yeah, I'm sure you could probably use CB as a processor gateway. However, I'm not sure if they're the ones I'd personally choose to do that job, given the reliability of the gateway they use seems to be a bit in question by the folks over at eWealth.com

When you take into account the fees, and not wanting affiliates, then yeh give clickbank a miss

1shoppingcart is good for digital products, especially because you can upload your access codes for products and have it deliver them.
    Here's a 30day full access trial of the 1shoppingcart system: http://1automationwiztrial.com

I use this on some of my sites with my paypal integrated.

Just set the commission to 0% and you won't get any affiliates. :)

What about using plain old paypal?
