Google send the traffic... None of the other search engines, in my experience, send even close to the amount that Google does.
I think alot more people here worship everything google does. At webmaster's world people are more realistic and see google as simply another business.
Man can I say disgruntled webmasters. But yeah it is about time that many webmasters really true state what they feel about Google instead of just following the crowd saying how all Googles services are top notch and benefit everyone equally. And it is beyond just not knowing or using all their tools properly. At one of my sites with an order forum. I ask how did they find me. It is a mixed response. And Google really sent me a slew of visitors. More of spiders than anything. I got a mix of SE visitors. I get more visitors from forums like DP that have ordered and or visited my site via my sig or thread where I advertised my stuff. More benefits from DP than Google. If only DP ran a SE. It would be cool.
This google syndication see it everywhere.All over the world hardworking, dollar earning 80 percenters all know the word google in 150 languages because they see it in the news and on the TV; that's where you advertising dollar is worth spending.

It's simple. Google does it best. If MSN or Yahoo could drive more traffic to a site, then people would worship them. Google has the brand recognition and a pretty decent SE. So much so that even old farts in nursing homes who've never used a computer have heard of Google and know what they do. I agree with some of the other posters though. Spread out your income streams. It's a bummer when the milk & honey from Google dry up!

Realistically, anyone with half a mind sees them the same way. Another business that sends you business.....If you don't take any business seriously that sends you customers, then you just might have your head stuck up the wrong ass....(In some cases, your own) <- That wasn't intended for anyone in particular, just those that think that Google is just "another" business. Now I don't mean to say that I agree with Google, because by all means, I think that they are trying too hard to dictate the way of the web....But at the same time, I'm smart enough to know that even though they try to dictate the web, they also send me more traffic than all other SE's combined.
Most webmasters are here on DP to make money. For webmasters such as you and I in the UK, Google accounts for 75% of traffic which generally equates to 75% of money-making opportunities. Many webmasters may not like a lot of things that Google do but to openly criticise them or blatantly break Google's rules would be commercial suicide, which is why it may appear as though a lot of posters kiss their backside.
