http://forums.digitalpoint.com/itrader.php?u=50874 I did. It's funny in my opinion. Stay away from him...
Ive tried to work with people that have negative rep and or negative iTrader... Most of the time it just doesn't work.. I'm not saying that all people with negative iTrader or rep are all bad people its just they don't know how do make a good deal or whatever..
Yup. the itrader is not fool proof at all! But it still works.. better than nothing. plus red rep doesn't really mean they are a scammer.. maybe some upsets in the politics & religion section
why would anyone work with a negative person? there are so many other people on here with positive reputations
What happens if I give a neg itrader to someone ( who did not paid me or not completed the work ? ) I am sure he will send me negative itrader too and that will decrease my reputation..
You're right to be concerned about unscrupulous iTrader abuse like this - one of the weaknesses in the system. If you're concerned about reprisal iTraders you could always contact a mod beforehand and explain the situation. Should reduce the likelihood of problems later on. As it goes I think your reputation will take quite a lot to damage.
Rep trading is against he rules of DP, so if you notify a moderator then it will possibly get removed, and no effect will be on your reputation..
Any reputation system will have its inherent weaknesses and flaws and they are bound to be misused at some level. However when the deal involves more than couple of dollars it would be wise to consider those iTrader ratings.
Actually, it usually is proof that the user is quite useless to work with. On DP, people tend not to randomly give out bad rep/iTrader. There's usually quite a good reason for it.
I have also seen some with negative ratings. But if they have one out of a hundred I would still give them the benefit of the doubt.
I saw someone with -3 iTrader once but I can't remember who he was. They got banned though, so it was good for everyone.
iTrader is used to evaluate if it's good doing transactions with a guy. Seeing a member with a negative iTrader isn't funny for me. --Joe
Yup, we ripped this guy to pieces after he ripped a bunch of us off - 4 and that's even though he's got a few greens http://forums.digitalpoint.com/itrader.php?u=43389 Edit: just put his rep in the red too
