Developing countries are very dependant on technical and financial aids from developed countries, World bank and IMF. Do you think there will be any interference from these parties to influence policy making decisions of these developing countries around the world?
Ask Hugo Chavez. His country has now gotten out from under IMF/world bank control and is getting more control of his nation's natural resources for them and not the oil companies. http://news.independent.co.uk/world/americas/article2502081.ece http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/americas/05/01/chavez.venezuela.oil.reut/index.html
No one gets a dime from IMF and the rest of organisations unless they agree to promote socialist agenda
which is why Shrillary clinton is so much for the IMF. Shes a socialist...take those profits from the companies that earned them so SHE can do with them what she would like to do. free money 101.
Yes; he did a great job and taking property and businesses from people. *claps* I'm sure it'll prosper, just as well as nationalization always does. In 10-20 years when Venezuela is a shit hole where we have to send money to support; will anyone sitting silent in mild approval remember why Venezuela is in this condition? Probably not. I'm sure it'll be America's fault; somehow.
The -real- irony is that Briant was in another thread advocating limited goverment. And here he is, approving of Chavez' nationalization here. Cognitive dissonance, obviously.
If they don't like it, they don't have to take the money. With the money comes "guidance" which may or may not be the best. The phrase to remember is TANSTAAFL. In your own personal life, would you expect someone to give you money for nothing?
