Who cares about the PR, if the website has THAT much traffic and your website might be of interest to the readers of the PR8/high traffic website, then GET THE LINK!

    Do it for the TRAFFIC.

If your website is interesting, just imagine all the new readers and new links you'll get from the exposure.

PS: I have a natural link from a very popular PR7 website and it did wonders for me... even though there are about 50 other links to similar (and even better) sites.

I repeat, DO IT FOR THE TRAFFIC.

I would not go for any PR at all. It's all a damn hype.
I'd better spend money buying some software to publish your site to hundreds of social networking sites. That would bring you much more revenue than a high PR.

I've seen a lot of fake PR on eBay lately...that's why they don't post these offers in forums ;) We know the difference where as newbies (which think eBay is the only spot to buy stuff) tend to not research these deals before they buy. I wasted a lot of money a few years ago with these types of sales!

i will suggest you first check the PR, is it real or Fake. you can try digpagerank or iwebtool to check PR. but i think PR8 $45/month is very low.

I have checked it several times, and checked the owners name. It is the real deal, I just dont know if I should preorder for several months. As if he was to remove the link I couldnt get my money back through paypal without some sort of proof.

1 month won't help much. I'd recommend having some PR5-7 links for 3-5 months, and that will help. :) However, remember Pagerank isn't very important in search engine ranking.

I am not really considering the page rank at this point, but the site has 50K+ links coming in including some from adobe! That is why its a PR8 lol. So I guess I will just give it a go, and let you all know how it goes!

Pay through a PayPal monthly subscription... no need to pay up front for 6 months when you can automatically pay month to month.

That was a good advice try to pay month by month.
