Yes. It is a very effective way to market using Squidoo. Theoretically, you do not even need a website if you use squidoo len to market affiliate products. Besides, Google LOVES Squidoo. It is very easy to get indexed on Google with the right set of keywords. You may like to look at my http://www.squidoo.com/ewenchiaautopilotprofits to see how I do it.

Are you getting hits to your site by making a lens on Squidoo, or does it have features like StumbleUpon?

I plan to use Squidoo. I just haven't had time to incorporate it into my action plan yet.

I originally started with Squidoo to get traffic to my own sites.

Squidoo is quickly indexed by the likes of Google.

So I'd get traffic, and a backlink.

But then I discovered what lseahyh is talking about. And now I approach Squidoo the same way a person would towards minisites.

I'm making some headway, and earning money along the way. I am working hard at it. It's easy to understand the concept within five minutes, but the more you play with it the more you realise it's flexibility and power.

If you don't know anything about Squidoo check out www.squidoo.com/why

If you've signed up and still don't know what to do, check out www.squidoo.com/what

Many people are selling very cheap guides on how to effectively use Squidoo on the warrior special offer forum.

Just go there and check out.

I'm making a huge push on squidoo right now for one of my sites and hoping it pays off well. Taking good notes for a book as I go.

I've tried squidoo marketing. Its excellent way to get natural traffic from
search engines. The only issue I see is to create all those squidoo lenses.
I hope someone comes up with an automated way to create those lenses.

I've tried it and it will be interesting to see what traffic results from Squidoo. So far, not much, but since it is free it is definitely worth a try.

    TinkerbellJoe,
There is a Firefox extension that works pretty well with Squidoo. It doesn't help you set your lenses up really, but when you want to add a link to your list, which I'm figuring is what you want to do to drive traffic, it makes it pretty easy.

Yeah, it is still a hassle to get the basic info in there...I'm doing it incrementally.

The more research I've done the more I see it can be a great benefit in the long run but it is not a fast fix. Perhaps after you get some well-ranked lenses then it is easier when you add new ones?

Right now I'm working on a strategy of lenses and myspace (not for spam bulletins etc. but simply for links and blog links) to see how that works. I do a lot of article marketing and the lenses and myspace blog seem to fit in well with that.

I've made around 10 lenses. Minimum traffic, none of them are indexed, and I haven't made any money... so far not so good. but it's free so I'm not complaining to much. ;)

I've tried this for a bit, doesn't seem to help too much with traffic as of yet.

Is it better to create multiple lenses for each of your sites, or just use one lens for all of your sites?

One lens for each topic. And link to the appropriate site.
