How much would you say that the .cc extention is worth if you compare it to the value of the .com extention for the same keyword?

Would about 0.5% of the value of the .com extention sound about right?

1/2 of .com? I would assume around there.. it is definitely lower than the value of a .com domain (compared to the reg fee since .cc are more pricier to register)

    Sorry but didn't understand 0.5% is 0.50%
    1/2 is 50%

I don't know what you both mean but a .cc is about 5%-10% of a similar .com
Just look the sales and you will understand
There are still many available .cc names

Yes, I meant 0.5% or half of 1 percent.

Is it really that much? I thought that it was a lot less then that. If so, that's good news.

You know I personally have always like the .cc extension, its clean and easy to remember. But they are next to impossible to sale. I have owned many from soldier.cc to plane.cc and more and have never gotten much return

I don't like .cc extensions because people associated them with free uni.cc domain names, besides they cost much more than any other of the popular extensions and, agree with you jaba, there is not much to expect in return developing or reselling such names.

Thanks for your opinions. I already have 1 .cc name that I bought before, but was considering getting another one.
