What's the best way to get people to start buying ads on your site with adbrite?

I've used adbrite for a while now for my site http://nogamesallowed.com

and nobody has ever bought an ad on the site
is there something I should be promoting to get people to advertise?
(at the moment it shows a low # of pageloads per day, but that is just because I had taken the ads off and just put them back on yesterday)

I'd advise going to gaming forums, promoting your website, and mentioning that Advertisement space can be bought on there. Because this is a younger audience targeted site, many simply cannot buy AdBrite ads, or make an account.

I suggest switching to AdSense. Better bet than AdBrite.

get rid of the banner and make a flexible ad zone.
the banners can only sell cpm spots.people would rather buy on a weekly or monthy bases.
let the stats build up so it shows how much traffic you really get.
set your prices low and then go to arcade webmaster forums and tell them why they can not pass up this offer to have an ad spot on your site.

Don't know what you mean by "flexible ad zone"
or why I should get rid of the banner

when you set up a zone you select which size you want.
the flexible ads you can choose what price to charge per week or month.you can't do that on the banners.
as an advertiser,i'm not going to buy an ad spot that is cpm.
the last time i bought a spot on some sites i paid $16.those sites created one million impressions.if i would have paid by cpm,say at 10¢ per 1000 impressions it would have cost me $100.the avg cpc would have been just way to high.

Yeah, like zodiac says go with the text ads instead of the banner ads. They generate the most clicks and money :)

ok... so now it's not showing network ads, is that just because I have to wait or because flexible ads don't show network ads... I just started making $.50+ per day.. before I switched, just from page impressions and interstitials

    now their is.... nothing?

It takes a while until your zone gets activated. Dont worry, the ads will come soon. :)
