I'm not sure if that idea is copyrighted I told Gabe about the categories for links before its release. He said he was releasing a new version (even back then mid feb laster according to my PM archive) for phplb.

It's bad news for me, of course, but I guess everyone else is happy. I (and the other category bid directories) don't have a patent on it, though. So, I figured it was coming sooner or later. Big Web Links, CDH Web Directory, and Web Directory List do not use this script, though.
errrr, I believe you are missing the sarcasm in the posts, serg. and as far as referrals, I've sent a good many your way as well. (i do archive my pm's if you would like I could dig them all out. it will just be tedious going through 10,000 pm's) so did you miss the returned sarcasm? maybe we'll do this from now on: <sarcasm> insert line here </sarcasm> to prevent confusion on yours and anyone elses end in the future? /me shakes head. gotta be able to take what you give.

I know this will coming sooner or later. When I launched ventedoy.com on December 2006, there are only 2 his kind of directory, ie the100lists.com and strongestbrand.com. And I am really worried when chris show an interest as well lol and when he launched Big Web Links, I thought I am done. I glad with the new features of phplinkbid. Meaning that, after this everyone will work harder and add more features to their directories. But, I think the description part, really need an improvement. I hate the 100 characters limit for description and you have to fill it in two different fields. I'm going to launch another unique directory soon (as far as I'm concern, its not done by anyone yet)
The first thing i did after install was fix that its pretty easy fix and it looks like a text area instead of single field now http://www.directoryorama.com/bid/ SEE . I kinda start from the root than proceed towards the rest. Cheers
have you posted the fix somewhere on this forum? Seems like I'd missed it. But I still can see 2 description fields there. Lol, yahoo bid your site for $2? never know they are so cheap, no wonder microsoft want to buy them lol...
There are few issues, but i now forgot what i did when i get time i will look into that again, but i think you can enter upto 400 words in field 1 and 2 not sure though will have to go through the code again. Currently busy trying to decide if i should choose wordpress or ezpublish for my directoryblend site
