Is Pixelotto.com a flop this project was started by the maker of milliondollarhomepage ( quite famous) wat do you guys feel
Pixelotto is one of the saddest disgraces of a marketing scheme gone bad I have ever seen. A waste of money for everyone involved. He should refund everybody their money instead of sitting on it for a year collecting interest only to give it away to some random click happy joker at the end of the year. Big time failure. He has lost the trust and support of all of the people who made him rich.
Ya its kind of stupid i mean it does get you some traffic but that traffic is all useless somethn like fake traffic
ha, today i was thinking of that site, maybe he looked greedy? too pretencious? the same idea can't work so many times
I can't login to my Pixelotto Players account. My wife can't login to her Players account either. "Sorry, we couldn't find that username or password. Please try again." 3 days and no response from pixelotto. Can anyone here login?
I remember checking up on this site when it was first announced. But for a long time the pot of money seems to be stuck in time at around $152,000. Hasn't moved very much in a while. Are there as many fanboy sites that track Pixelotto progress like they did for MillionDollarHomePage? There used to be several of them active, but today . . . not so much.
Oh sorry, I stand corrected. $152,400. But I still don't remember this number moving up in a long time (nine months or longer).
Can anyone login? I can't and can't get any response from pixelotto. I'm worried they are going to take the money and run.
And if you read their FAQ, somewhere it mentions the reason for the increased prices (compared to milliondollarhomepage). So if they did close up shop and take off with the loot, they took $152,400 x 2, which is a nice payday I suppose.
Alex Tew thought he could recycle this idea a number of times and make a lot of money, no suprise there has not been any blog since it started MDH was a great unique idea and he capitalized on it well with appearences on TV/Radio in Europe and the States. There were so many other Pixel sites that by the time Pixel Lotto came out it got lost amonst the rest of them. The Million Dollar Wiki page seems to be doing well now, but that's had a great push from Shoe Money and John Chow.
I just checked out the site again. Looks like the new year will bring an end to Pixelotto. They are giving away the money gathered up to this point in January 2008. Wonder if that means Pixelotto will restart the process over again, like a real lottery, and just keep giving away money.
