Humm... Volvo's are known to have miles and miles of problems. So I think you might want to do some real research before purchasing one.
Volvos rule. But make sure you buy a pre 1990 one A friend of mine used to have a few late 70s and early 80s Volvos (and Saabs). I loved 'em. Those old Volvos pull geeky chicks like you wouldn't believe I drove a turbo diesel S60 around France in 2005 and it was great. Way too big and clumsy for anything but the main roads, but still it was ultra comfy and quiet. But... get a Peugeot
Volvos do blow...especially now. I've had Subarus and they are indeed great cars! Can't beet the AWD!
They are not that expensive dood. The 2004 Dodge RAM HEMI that I used to own was more expensive Mwahahahahaha Volvo SUCKS!
Your point is ? You owned a Volvo maybe ? You drive better, faster, more comfortable and more secure in any Volvo than your 2004 Dodge RAM HEMI
That doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I suggest you take a look at Volvo's consumer ratings & reviews.
Don't need statistics since I owned one It served me well. As far as reviews ... It gets always very good reviews when I read test drives in various automobile magazines ....
I guess for the price, the S40 probably isn't a bad car. I thought they were much more expensive for some reason. Here's what ConsumerReports says:
Are we talking about S40 - the old model ? Then I would consider some other car ! That was not "real volvo" since it shares almost everything with Mitsubishi Carisma. Anyway Volvo starts with S60 !
LOL Obviously you have never driven the RAM HEMI! That particular truck is like driving a cadilac. The ride is by far smoother and more comfortable than any volvo out there. As far as speed goes there is 350 HP at the rear which makes it fast enough. I have driven a few Volvo's and they out right SUCK. Secure? lol you want to talk about security? I was in one acident with the truck... 3500$ damage to the other guys car and all that was broken on the truck was the licence plate holder on the front bumper. I didn't even have my seat belt on and barely moved in my seat when we hit. Mwahahahahaha
