I don't think they have the "power" to buy ebay/paypal and I doubt they would sell anyway...

Google might want to, but eBay won't sell.

Dont think so. Ebay is an actual business, that has products and serves a purpose. Google is into advertising, not handling clients and merchendise.

Ebay/PayPal does not fit into Google's business model, I say no way.

did you really look at this i mean ebay has a market cap of 50 billion give or take google's own cap is 150 billion ebay is just too large at this point in order for a takeover to occur. just my two cents

Google can make an auction site easily and need not buy eBay. IMO

How can people say that Google doesn't have the power to buy ebay? Please, Google is one of the richest companies in the world, if Google can't buy ebay, then nobody can.

"Please, Google is one of the richest companies in the world."

Is this true or even close to true?
