How to go from no traffic to a busy site in no time for free Ok I get heaps of emails all day from readers of my blog all wanting to know how do I get some many people to my site and decent traffic. Well I’ll tell you know it isn’t hard. Ok the basic’s, first thing you need to make sure is that your site’s URL’s are SEO friendly what do I mean by that well if you look at my blog’s URL’s they are †www.site.com/topic-for-site †as you can see the keywords in the title of topics are SEO so that the search engines can pickup the keywords. Why is this important well if you are trying to get people looking for keywords â€car sales†for example the search engine bots will look at title of your sites topic so if you topics include www.site.com/car-sales they are more likely to show up in search engine for those keywords. Alot of people bag digg for it’s importance to get traffic well it still is a good source to get traffic for your site , how you get traffic from digg well you write a good article for your site including all the keywords you are trying to get higher for in Google, then submit it to Digg and you should see an increase in traffic for your site , continue to do this for a few days when you do it don’t just digg all day your articles digg one a day to keep traffic coming in.The other one to submit your articles to, is reddit there you are likely to get alot of constant traffic if you articles are good. The Power of social networking site , in one of my last posts I included a list of social networking sites that you can submit your site to, why is this important well last month I managed to get an extra 5000 uniques to my site by submitting to these social networking sites, so there is the proof that using social networking site to promote your site does work. Article directories, now you have written all these good articles it is important to submit all of them to as many article directories as possible because this is a good way to get a constant source of traffic to your site. Another new site that I use for my blog that is also good for getting traffic if you have a blog is www.mybloglog.com a great community site to show off your blog and get a membership community happening for your blog, I have found this to be great source of traffic and a constant one too. Forums , great source of traffic also if you write a few decent articles on your topic and submit it around to as many forums on that topic as possible with your link in signature .You will find that you get alot PM’s , an that people are visiting your site to get more information because you article was informative. Yes I think alot of people over look the simple things when they are starting out trying to get traffic
