I've been reporting Google about 2 companies using double serving strategies, for more than a month, getting only cookie cutter answers like "we'll tke care of this bla bla", but nothing is being done to prevent it. There are 2 companies doing this in my niche: ones serves 4 ads, another 2 ads, different urls, same company. As a result my conversions have gone down the drain by 60%. They have six ads occupying six spots on the front page of every keyword we pay for. Should I follow the "bad guys route" and join the game?
If you think it's worth the risk. I've dealt with this before - it's a pain to stay on top of it but eventually Google gets around to removing the offenders...unless of course they spend a few million a year...
The point is, are they really going to take action, and WHEN? for the las 2 month my revenue has been 1/3 of the previous 2 years...
I called & e-mailed every other day, and, did what I could to show the people who were double serving that they would be better served - from a financial point of view - only running one ad.
In every case but one...and that's because I moved out of that space and didn't care if they were double serving. Just did a quick check and surprise, they now have 4 ads for that term
