Yes, I was just about to dish out one :D (would have been my first time) becuse someone started a thread stating the same thing as an existing thread (worded salightly differerntly, of course).

Will anyone ever give out a negative rep anymore. I can see the logic though because somepeople people give out red just for fun. This will make them think twice.

yeah, that little blurb of red text has stopped me from doing it a few times...it's hard to part with those little rep points when you don't have that many to begin with...lol

i have also lost 10 points coz of single red rep,so i think its 10 points dat we loose when someone with high rep gives red.

that's not possible (unless it's shawn himself redding you, but then he'll be making your username red, not your rep). -5 is max.

    I didn't know that-thanks for the info.

I would like to name a names but i want- there are ppl who use to be obsess in giving out red rep with a lot of name calling. Having this code implanted has been a great disadvantage to them and a wonderful relief to us.:D

lol...i thought it was the same for you though...you lose 5 rep to give -5 rep...seems more fair to me...lol...

i doubt you'd (and other people with tons of rep) care about -1..lol

8everything, are you bragging again? ;)

Correct me if I am wrong, five is the max that be given as red rep and ten for green rep, and you get one for each green blob.

Makes most people think twice before dishing out the red unless they have a bunch of green.

Wouldn't it be cool if we got a green for every green we give out? :D

Yeah... People with tons of reps will most likely not mind losing 1 point. But I don't believe losing rep points with a ratio of 1:1 is the way to be fair.
