I received an acceptance email from yahoo yesterday for YPN as well and had some problem getting a confirmation email from them but it finally came today, about 24 hours later. The UI is very familiar and easy to use, cut and paste the code, etc. you can create channels to track where the hits are coming from. I applied over a month ago and live in Texas..I'll let everyone know how it goes.
Both, and through observations. Yesterday Yahoo appologized via press release to advertisers, because they couldn't login to their accounts for a week just another thing to mention.
So as a non US citizen, is it possible to setup a dummy US corp ? /edit yes you can. I suppose it's something that might be useful one day.
I think anybody who applied to Yahoo YPN program with "decent" websites (webmasters based in US) probably got into the Beta program. Anyways.. time for me to test Yahoo YPN too.
A friend of mine did it online and has now a company registered in Nevada (many years ago). He's now in Siberia so I can't talk to him and I haven't found a websource yet (actually didn't look yet).
run a search on G for 'delaware llc foreigner' and you'll get plenty of results. The resource I've been reading is: http://incorporate-in-delaware.ukincorp.co.uk/s-7K-delaware-company-non-resident.html
I hope all goes well and YPN becomes available in other countries soon. Feels good to hear of alternatives other than Adsense. Weapon-of-choice
Like someone said above, one criteria will be do they pay more, and, equally importantly, do they serve ads with the same relevancy to the page content as does Google. I certainly have not seen any eureeka posts just yet, so I will see how this pans out before I give up a steady stream of good income from ads that enhance rather than clutter up my web sites.
I have been invited to the beta program too and my signing up process was smooth and steady. I will keep you posted on the results!
