You dont fool me for one second.. you're in it for the money... "focusing on visitors" - what sort of communist propaganda is this! Personally - when I start I intend to use the 100 crap sites route

 

I am not sure if this is at all a good idea. In the long run, quality will win out.

Yes, you are right. But what kind of niche? You know soccernet? goal.com? many websites can be described as soccer website, how can you beated them?

If you only telling about premiership news, selling shirts, etc. you cannot win. Too many competitions..

as you haven't specified your adsense account, url, etc...


- Don't mean to sound negative, but $2000 appears seem pretty low for 6000 uniques, so I think that could be well optimized

- What figure is your average CTR ?

- how many pageviews per user do you have in average?

- what's the "site stickyness" / viewing duration per page?

problem with a lot of sites is that if you are bound to just one Adsense account that is the single point of failure (banning, co-relation)

Well done football boy so while you were working hard on getting your content how did you support yourself? Have you got a day job too?
I'm just starting with adsense and although I've had visits I've only had one click so far and like you don't want to divulge url in case. In the meantime though I work full time to keep my income going, I've been working on IM since November 2006 and only really started making progress when I found DP.

How do you find the time?
