Do you use Google Analytics and your PR is decreased with this update than read below:

In the Feb month, I implemented Analytics on 2 of my sites. One was having PR6 and another was having PR5. They were on these PRs for years. But as soon as I implemented Analytics after Dec-Jan PR update, my one PR6 site when to PR 4 and another from PR5 to PR6.

I feel that Google scan this Analytics data and apply the same to PR/it's search engine results.

Is there anybody else feeling like this?

Yes, it is very much possible.

Google is always trying to collect all the data, surfing habbits of the visitors, Sites stats etc. etc. and now Google has a way to link them. For example, when I didn't not implemented Analytics on my PR 6 site, Google didn't has exact idea that how much traffic I was getting, from where I was getting this traffic, referrals etc. etc. but now Google knows everything. and it is not hard for Google to related this with SERP and site profile.

Google will have more clear ideas of any site's profile which is using Analytics.

I have been using Analytics on all of my sites since it was first released and I don't believe there is any correlation between the two.

First of all my PR goes up and down on different sites more in line with the investment I make in SEO and link building of each site. Not to mention promotion.

Secondly, if Google were to apply your theory and despite Google's market reach, they do not have such data for every single web site on the Internet thus it would make the SERPS highly unstable.

    Just my thoughts...

i have analytics on most all of my sites
and got pr 2 from pr0 on a few of my new sites!
one less than 40 days old

im with your 2nd thoughts silkysmooth

i would think google would reward you for using thier products before they would use it against you!
and i think a link to google would be better than a link to anyother tracker!
tho i could see how they could use it against you if you dont have good stats!
tho i dont think i have good stats!

If you pat your head and rub your stomach whilst hoping during the PR update of your site, your PR will:

    -Increase if you rub clockwise,
    -Decrease if you rub anti-clockwise...

    FACT! :)

    Love it :)

I have had Google analytics on my blog since I started it and every Google PR update it has always gone up.

Google's clever, it won't use analytics for it's algo unless everyone starts using analytics (which won't happen) otherwise it's bias data

Google doesn't even include the Google toolbar into the algo, yeah they use it to index but not in there algo and a lot of people have the toolbar

    just my 2 cents
