How long until google updates ranks?

    I know it isn't even close to as long as how long PR takes.

    I was wondering how many days until I will be ranked for my word it shouldn't be that hard and if I don't get ranked how long until it updates?

    You could be doing well in the SERPs tomorrow. They are constantly updated.

    keyword ranking keeps gettign updated.. there is no as such time.. but yes there is one thing attached to it.. Google keeps updating its alogo and according it updates the ranking of a website. So alogos keeps updating after every 3 months or so ... So the keyword ranking is updated on the basis of alogos placed by google and that too on a daily basis....

    YEs PR is being constantly updated but it will be visible on the toolbar only once in every 3 months I guess..not sure.

    I dont know.. but after upgrading my site or (SEO) my site.. I went from a PR0 to PR2 overnight.

    google MOSTLY updates the page 4 times in year but serp results are constantly updated

    I think search engine updates ranking often. Your rankings would depend on how you optimized your site. Even your site was just one week old as long as it is well optimized with your targeted it can have a better ranking.

    You mean SERPs? Depends on your keyword, if it is very competetive, expect more than 9 months. :)

    Is depends of strenght, authority and PR (yep, at least pr is used for anything ;) ) of sites that linking to your site.

    Google's Update Schedule:

    1. Major Updates w/ PR Increases: Around the time of their quarterly results (4 times a year)

    2. BackLink Updates: Every 6-8 Weeks

    3. Minor SERP Updates: All the time

    4. Indexing: All the time

    Along with this they are testing new features all the time. Just the other day I saw them put 4 SERs results then they added the local map listings and then the other 6 SERs.

    I have been keeping up with my web cache and I have notice that google bot visit my sites about once a month... The last time google bot visited my classified ad site was may 13, it is almost time for it to visit it again.
