Using DIGG etc- There MUST be an easier way!!

I'm a blogger who has been working on my site (listed in the signature) for about a month at the moment and am working hard to maintain content and establish good links. I have recently come across a whole heap of social bookmarking sites and the general consensus seems to be that Digg is the best.

I had one major question regarding Digg. It seems almost pointless to manually submit my daily blog article to the site EVERY DAY. Surely there has to be a way to submit my feed or something like that to ensure that I don't have to constantly do this. The same MUST is true of the social bookmarking site Ole!Ole! but I haven't figured out how to do that either.

Also, I am part of a site called HaveBalls.net where the website owner has set up a way to put my feed into the site and it automatically updates when I do. Are there other sites like this? What are they called?

Confused about this, I seem to be missing out on something and putting in more work with regards to this than I should.

The reason you can't just submit your feed to Digg is that it is sort of designed to be a place where only articles of a certain quality get submitted (i.e. no one would ever digg your filler blog posts). It doesn't really operate that way, as a lot of garbage gets to the front page, but if you submitted a post every day, your entire site will be banned within a few monthgs guaranteed...

They key is to spread out your linkable content, and post it sparingly so you can use digg to keep a consistent traffic flow coming in.

In other words only submit the best of the best of your posts to the big sites, use junk sites for the rest, it couldn't hurt, could it?

Anyway heres a tool you may find helpful called onlywire, google it, I cant post links yet. It lets you submit to multiple SB site in a few clicks.

So it seems the idea is to say, in the example of my blog, save my opinion columns for submission and not submit the daily news part of my site.

Checked out the tool, its ok, but not quite what I'm looking for.

Still wondering if there are sites out there that use your Autofeed to add your material (eg. HaveBalls.net)
