Hi, i have found many people here in DP is promoting about their ebooks(in their signature). and all of them is all about "how to make money in internet". Very similar each other, testimonials everywhere, etc. Are they really succeed or just hype?
Some ebooks have good information and others have same information that is all over the net. If you have no idea how to make money online then all info you get on the subject should help.
Most information that are provided in ebooks can be found for free all over the net and in forums but you don't get it condensed and in step by step formulas as you do in ebooks. Obviously some ebooks are better than others and some will make more of a hype about how much you can earn. What it all comes down to in the end is how much you are willing to follow the ebook and how much time you are willing to spend on it. A lot of people buy an ebook and moan a few days later that it is a scam when clearly they haven't tried it.
Yes, it does work. This is called forum marketing. If you provide good value to the community, forum readers will come to trust you and will want to check out what business you have and what you have to offer.
I believe most ebooks are hype... they're rare cases of sucess stories. However, there's nothing wrong with reading ebooks, I find that you can add to your knowledge that you already have of that particular field.
I suppose many of them are hype, although there are some good ebooks. It's quite easy to spot typical products that are selling "easy success without doing anything", and then you get a book that tells you to sell a book that leads to easy success. By listening to the author (or the guy who promotes it) it's quite easy to see who is concentrating on making the sale and who is giving some useful information. You can find lots of useful information for free simply by searching the forums, and checking what kind of information people are giving. Hope this helps
I think ebooks were a big hit some time ago but unfortunately many people joined the "band wagon" and tried to get in on the potential money being made. Now there are so many around for free and so many people just creating ebooks for the sake of ebooks that you have to be careful as to which ones you take notice of. Personally I tend to read them and if they look right, seem logical learn from them and use that knowledge to my own benefit. In this way even if the book you read is a scam all you have taken is time and improved your knowledge so I don't see how you can lose treating them this way. (and I am selling something in my signature if you wonder that, but not e books) I'm also in the process of setting up my own home page which will include lots of free content eventually, I might offer my collection of ebooks, well the ones I got for free anyway, but not yet.
It's like in the forums' case. There are many articles to claim it's a good idea to have a forum (repeated visitors) or do some viral marketing to get more traffic. MOst of the people do this because it's a good "trick", not because they have something to offer in the end. That means many bad quality ebooks, forums or blogs.
I dont bother with them, the same common sense and ideas "fluffed up" and bottled all over again. Honestly, the only one thats getting rich is the guy selling the book.
Well said. Generally its all hype most if not all of the information is freely available on the internet. Unless it contains the HD DVD Hex code....
I think a lot of the current trend stems from an eBook called "On Demand Profits" you must have seen the signature for that? It's usually something like "Your Personal ATM For Only $7". It's everywhere, the eBook basically describes forum marketing but the twist is he recommends you promote HIS eBook through the forums - great idea right? Maybe for him, but unforuantely some forums are now just spamming boards for his product. Has anyone seen IM4Newbies forum recently. It's in a sad decline. Alok Jain has a lot to answer for
Just like anything in life, some are good and others are bad. The reason you see them so often is they can often make their author a decent amount of money via affiliate sales and forum marketing and all that. So with a lot of them, the content is really crap but they marketing it in such a way that many people buy the book anyway.
Most ebooks are a load of crap, they take information they find in free forums like this one a re packet it and sell it to unsuspecting newbies....
Most of them in general.. however reputable ones are pretty of high quality like Aaron Wall's (seobook.com). Regardless.. I feel like I'd trust paperback books rather than ebooks 'cause they're so easy to make... so..
Those ebooks are just witten in a general purpose way like assuming only few criterias and they always show the positive side. I do agree there are some good ebooks too
Its all crap.... Just google "$7 dollar sales" Then you have these bullshit dudes... http://www.7dollarselling.com/ Its all hyped up crap, trust me .....
Very true and as the say goes, there is a sucker born every second. All hype, save your money for something that will actually help your online business.
