I am running a career site with high traffic and i am planning to run adsense throughtout the site.

on an average day, I get 10,000 visits & 70,000 pageviews ( Google Analytics)

I would like to estamate revenue from adsense

Should i consider visits or pageviews while calculating revenue ?

Adsense Revenue = Visits or pageviews X CTR X Average CPC

What to consider Pageviews or Visits

It would be easier if you could tell us your url, to estimate earnings we have to know ad position and colors, do you have a lot of returning visitors or are most of them first-timers, are most of your visitors visiting forum ...

    But let's say you could earn approx (by your formula) 10000 * 3% * 0.08 = $24 or in another case 10000 * 5% * 0.10 = $50
So you can probably earn somewhere in between 24÷50 USD per day

I get around 70,000 pageviews, 13,000 visits, and over 3500 uniques per day and I've only been making around $10-20 per day. :( My best month was this past February though where I made up to $30 a day sometimes, but it dropped since then. :( My website: downloads.littlbuger.info

You won't loose anything (I think) if you try.

Trying adsense doesn't mean adding the AdSense code 24houres then making conclusions, you'll have tou try colors, placements, keywords...

Depending on how well keywords are bidded on your site depends on how much you will earn. The higher the bids the more you will earn. With a careers type I don't know if it will do well or not so well in Adsense. I have a feeling that it will perform much better than entertainment type sites but not quite as good as webmaster type sites.

I would imagin you may aget around $0.10 - $0.20 on average per click. If this is the case and the ads are put in a good location then you may receive around $200 - $300 per day.

Not true, If its a game site it could be 50 cents a day with those #'s

If its a mortgage site , he might earn more,

    Its really hard to guess....

And then you have smart pricing that will come soon as well.

OP - just apply the ads and see how you do

If your site is a niche or is related to products , I would scrap the adsense idea and go with cj.com or something you probably would make more...
