Well Established Web Directory For Sale - Alexa 84,309

I am selling off this directory as I no longer have the time necessary to maintain it and I would like to use the funds to support other projects right now. It is a well organized and categorized general web directory that was established back in February of 2006, so it is over a year old. Traffic to the directory comes from various sources as it has been listed on multiple directory submission lists. I have taken a great deal of time to ensure that the directory is clean and that has meant that about 70% of submissions to it have been rejected. The script is very highly customizable within the admin panel. You can set just about anything. That's one of the reasons I bought it.

The site earns anywhere between $75 to $200 per month from a variety of sources. Those sources include AdSense, Affiliate Programs And Link Sales. At it's peak, the site had 2 regular monthly link subscriptions worth $125 alone. The script is relatively unique. Not a lot of directories using it and the full licence will be transferred to the new owner upon completion of the deal. The full licence allows the use of an additional two (2) copies of the script on other domains.

The buyer will receive a copy of the unedited script, access to the files via cPanel and FTP and that will also provide them with access to the database to transfer everything. The buyer will also gain control of the domain name (free push at GoDaddy) I will also transfer the full licence for the script to the buyer, which allows a total of three simultaneous copies to run at once. Yes. I am including the license with the sale. The licence allows you to run 3 simultaneous copies of the script, so the buyer will have two extras to use as they see fit.

 

Is there anything that must remain on the web like some links or ads?

 

Of the 11,000 links, only a small handful (less than 10) are sponsored and there were never any promises made with respect to sponsored links. So, while it would be nice if the buyer left them alone, the buyer is free to do as they wish. Additionally, all current link sales are on a month to month basis and will automatically expire, so they can be removed.

The site is currently using just under 30MB of disk space.
The database is a standard MySQL database and the site is currently hosted on your average, run of the mill reseller account with cPanel.
The monthly bandwidth currently stands at about 1.25 GB (give or take).
