hello Dear all,

I got this email from Google Adsense Team.

Keep your filter list small
Is your account filter list working a little too well? Consider reducing the number of filtered ads. While filtering is a quick and easy way to prevent unwanted ads from being displayed, keep in mind that filtering decreases the number of ads that can appear, thereby decreasing your potential earnings as well. In order to increase the variety of ads served to your pages and to make the most of every opportunity for additional revenue, try removing URLs from your filter list. Also, instead of filtering out the top-level domain of an ad (which will prevent any ad from that domain from appearing), filter just the exact destination URL.

Tip for becoming a filtering expert: review our Competitive Ad Filter Guide, where'll you'll find instructions and advice on filtering ads like a pro.

thanks/regards
Crown

That's part of the monthly optimisation tips - you'd see them when you log into your Adsense account. The only reason that you see them (as do I) is because you have some entries on your filter list. That is all. ;)

The tips are good for beginners though.

This is merely an automatic suggestion generated by the Adsense system - no real humans were involved, and your site wasn't visited by a Google employee.

You can choose to ignore it. Click on the "dismiss tip" inside your Adsense account.

Do an earnings test. Save the list and go a week with out them, and see if you make more or less. Rumor has it, Made For AdSense/AdWords sites should stay on the list.

they have just written a small paragraph about the compeitive ads filter and they want you to read it! just the way we do, nothing to bother really,

if you are earning enough, and there is no problem with the ads, then there is no need to check out the filtered sites:)

Yep I got that same one.

I think if you have any URL's in the competitive filter, they sent it to you.

I got the same message too, even though I was only filtering out about 15 or 16 sites, all of which were "made for AdSense" sites. I'm trying out removing them from my filter to see if it impacts earnings at all. Will keep you posted.
