    What is the best way to check for fake PR. Pls advice.

    You can check for Live PR website, which look at the same time on different data center. Or use a site that check if the google cache is ok.

    Look on Google for Live PR or Valid PR

    Best way is to check manually on IP which shows updated PR.

    info:domain.com

    If results are nothing or url(s) which doesn't match original then something is fishy if only 1 url is returned and its same then its 100% ok. :)

    LIVEPR is the best which directly takes the PR from google servers... & u also can see the server ip & their PR ranked for u... the link is

    put the url in the box after opening the page which u need to know the PR...

    Wow. Nice tool. I just wanna ask if where does other site gets fake PR. I remember before that I'm doing link exchange with my site. The webmaster told me that it's PR2 but when I check the site its PR0. Then I told the webmaster that it's PR0, so he email me again and said to take a look again then it's now PR2.

    btw now you can also check thru digpagerank tool ...
    if it shows pr in red then it means its fake. ;)
