What is Stumbling a website?

    Hi I'm new here and have seen numerous post about stumbling a website. Can someone explain what this is and how it works?

    stumble upon is a social bookmarking website, where people add websites that they like. stumbling a website is a waste of time that brings a lot of traffic.

    anyways, it is worth a try since it give a few thousand useless hits every day pretty easily!:D

    My site gets around 150 hits a day from stumble users....not bad!

    i get hits once in a blue moon
