Ok...i've just had a PM convo with someone (won't mention the name)...but i found it interesting... what do you think?...who was in the wrong here?...i thought i was being quite tactful...and i'm unsure where he said i was using dirty language...though actually in his last PM he used some slang dirty language...lol my first reply to his offer: his reply... so now i'm curious about this other guy...because i've already looked at his past history and he seems to have lots of excellent reviews...so i reply with I'm a friendly person...and like to know things...is that such a bad thing? his reply now this ticked me a little the wrong way...so I replied with (quite tactfully for the most part i thought)...because i'm sorry...but that was just some horrible customer service... now i meant it when i said that would be my last pm...because it will be... but this was his last reply...and i find it rather weird...lol... i am by no means a cheap person...i've paid plenty for a great deal of things...it just so happens that i'm 'thrifty'...if i'm going to pay for something...i don't care if it's expensive...but i want to know that it's actually worth it...which is what i was trying to find out...is that so wrong to do???... now...where in the world was my filthy language?...if i'm seeing things correctly...he's the one threatening me and using the 'F-u' slang...seems a bit hypocritical to me... sorry for the spew...just pissed me off a bit so had to get it out somehow...
Dude, you 've got a problem, he make it clear in the first PM that either $75 or no deal. What you did is just wasting his time, if you are not doing business with him, don't bother him
Thats interesting but really you should not deal with him in future. Try getting someother person for your work which can do your work with quality and with cheaper price forget that one. have a nice day
looks confusing, can you refer to the thread where he was asking for you to pm him and give him your submission offer!
I think he is very busy and he do not want to waste more time on pm s, he want to spent his time in his business. No one's fault...
He probably read you PM too fast and joined a couple of words in his head. Simple misunderstanding methinks.
Since neither of you seem be able to speak English properly - I'd say it's a misunderstanding. isn't too bad though.
i don't see how it was wasting his time...he would have sold me at $75 if he had of simply answered my question...my question said nothing about wanting a price lower than $75... lol..both of us?..i don't see where my english is bad?... I did...
Dropping it is just letting the whole thing go, you told him that he sucked at selling*... *whoops, selling not spelling.
no...i told him that he sucked at being nice to perspective clients...didn't even notice his spelling i can see where both of us were wrong though...definately not saying i was right and he was wrong just felt like discussing it since i have nothing better to do at work at the moment...lol
Well business is business.. I don't want to judge who is right and who is wrong, but I am always very careful about type of language I use while dealing with others.. you never know what you might miss just because you were a little "impatient".
I agree with sachin410. You gotta let the deal unfold which you were obviously willing to do. BTW it's "prospective clients". Although I wish some of my clients would have a little more perspective
In Australia the customer is always right... some countries dont have that way of thinking. In saying that he was in the wrong and you were in the right. You have every right to ask questions about his service. If he wants you as a customer he has to work for it. Liek you said you never said you were not going to use him you just wanted an answer to a question.
I don't see where I have an attitude problem?...why do you think that?...i was completely nice and curteous until he decided to become rude...then I just told him what I thought...it had nothing to do with attitude exactly my way of thinking...i've had some of the rudest customers on the face of this planet (at least i like to think so...lol)..and I've never been rude...it just doesn't make business sense at all...whether they are rude or not (which i don't believe I was anyway...i asked a simple question)...they are still a prospective client...and even if they aren't going to buy and you know it...you are STILL nice because THEY know other people...that might be prospective clients...
LOL you talking about customer service? Sounds like you are a nosy customer! In his first PM itself he made it clear that he can't beat the prices you mentioned. Matter closed. Why you have to bug him asking more questions (thats too not very fruitful towards your possible deal). Your second PM is more of noise than sound. I think your second PM to him should have been about the deal you guys are talking about and not anything else. He clearly seems to be busy and has no reason to answer your inquiries about his competitor giving you low price.
that statement makes no sense...i was the potential customer...a customer can be nosey if he wants...it's the best way to not get ripped off My pm had nothing to do with having him lower his price...and how is a customer asking questions not fruitful towards a deal?...how else is someone supposed to find out the info??? which proves my point...because if he really wanted a new customer...then telling me why someone else i was planning on using wasn't a good choice would be a smart thing to do...if he's too busy for that...then apparently he's too busy for new customers...and shouldn't have PMed me in the first place wanting my business
