will you pay for getting PR5? indirectly, yes. time (is money) and it takes time to create unique and quality content.

    how much will pay? varies

is PR important for you or not? yes, but for monetization purposes and online visibility

do you think that PR is the most important factor in SEO? not at all

how many hours you spend for building links every day? err, bad question. does making a blog post count as building links? it builds internal links on my blog plus has the possibility of getting linked to by other blogs.

I already am sharing my information, however i am not going to spam your thread with links to my own.

By the way, PR is not the most important thing for SEO.

building links take time for updating you site or blog "inbound links".
on way links take more time too => searching related sites/blogs,viewing source code to know if blogs you find use nofollow or not, time for forums and article directories registration.

    sorry,i dont see your signature.

I'm trying to do it myself. I am a low budget fun seeker :p. I'm in the search results now after submitting site in directories/engines in January 07. It's a lot of fun, but takes a lot of time. Homemade is gratifying.

PS. I've found several nice tips on Digital Point.

By making a blog post I mean on my own blog. If I write 1 new post a day, is that considered link building?

I can see how it is internal linking, but how is making a blog post inbounding linking, unless other people link to the site?

Maybe Im not clear. If I ran an internet marketing blog, does making a post on my internet marketing blog count as building links for my internet marketing blog?

Eh, well I disagree. Creating a post only has the potential to create inbound links. Of course, if the blog post is part of some link exchange, then yes, but I mean just a plain old post. Internal linking, well that is a different story.

I voted 'yes' to I would pay, because it didn't give an amount. IN other words, I probably wouldn't pay as much as the person was asking...but who knows?

Funny thing .. I experienced the same thing ... got less pr but the traffic quadripled ... I guess those days pr is totally meaningless .. so why give money for it ??

    Cheers,

I don't even care about pr 5 because Alhamdulillah I've defeated sites with pr 4 or pr 5 with pr 2 or pr 3 site.

I think that nowadays PR is just for your pride. It is cool to say I have a pr8 site. But you are not hunting for pr, you are hunting for traffic. And you'll get traffic by getting a good search engine position for your keywords. The position in SERPS it is not influenced by the pr of your page but by your inbound links, your content, your title etc. The PR is just a measure of the number of your backlinks and a sum (ln8) of the pr of pages that are linking to you. It is not important if that pages have relevant content for your site. So... In my opinion having a high PR is quite cool but this won't help you getting the traffic you need.
