Calculator Experiment.... weird experiment that I decided to do.

You can read the full blog post HERE but heres the lowdown.

I'm taking these stupid statewide math tests and I usually finish early. So I decided to press 1+1= and keep hitting = on my calculator. Just to see when the equal button will stop working.

I got to 23,114 after the test and now I'm around 25k.

When do you think it will stop working? I'll keep updating this thread and my blog whenever I get milestones like 100k , 250k, 500k, 750k, 1m, 1.5m, 2m etc

When the batteries you first put in the first time you used it die. Which shouldn't be too long from now.

It will stop working along with your calculator as soon as the batteries run out/display dies/you hit it too hard/you spill water on it/aliens invade the earth.

If your calculator is a 12-digit calculator, it might stop working when it reaches 999,999,999,999 + 1. :D

Just a thought... I don't think it'll stop working unless it cannot solve the equation anymore.

If you're talking about battery life, it depends on the brand and the battery.

    Good luck with that!

Never try to find an end to infinity...
There are people who wasted their whole life, finding the solution to infinity...

Its a ten digit calculator plus 2 little ones at the top for scientific notation. Also If the battery runs out it has a solar panel so I can put in another one! I'm around 75k now :)
