I earned a PR3...Now what???

Apparently, I have done a decent job in getting quality backlinks and have moved from PR0-PR3. Great! So, what do I do now?

I haven't noticed any SERP changes or traffic boosts. What can I do to capitalize on my new PR?

You can blow your nose on your PR3. Nah Just kidding.

You need to do some link exchanges with PR3 or higher sites. Be sure to put fresh content on it.

    And congrats.

Funny enough, I was just going to make a thread with a similar content as today one of my sites got a PR2:

    http://www.cfd-traders.blogspot.com

but as you say, so what? Is this going to make the site more valuable for buyers? Something that I think not. It's very unlikely that this will increase my traffic either as with my topic, my site needs to be at least a PR5 to get any decent traffic.

I'd be interested to hear what difference could possibly a PR2 make to my site?

Not necessarily. PR has no direct relation to traffic.

Keep adding content and building up your incoming links.

Your off to a great start and if you do the above you could do anything you want with it.

Now what? You get a cookie.

PR means almost nothing. You could have got PR3 from a single PR4 link.

You recieved any benefit you are going to recieve weeks or months before it showed on the tool bar. These toolbar updates show the PR that you gained from incoming links about a month ago.

PR does help your site, BUT it is only one of may factors. Consider it a pat on the back for the work you've done and continue on.

    What.

You angry that I summed up something so simple, that you thought was so complex?

Your PR3 is not worth anything in itself, sorry. You should focus on getting visitors.

Just improved your keyword to target and get more quality links using your targeted keywords. This can help you get a better SERP.
