Directories World Championship! I think I haven't seen so many contests in a while...so what the heck... Let's do this one : Directories World Championship - once every year - draw directories two by two, face to face, analize them , give them points and vote for your favourite in a poll... ! Winner gets $100 , runner up $50 , third and forth $20 each, then every other directory not eliminated in the first round gets some money starting from $1 and increasing by $1 each round they qualify ! So basically at least half of the entries will get some money! More informations at www.DirectoriesForum.com , Contests Area ! Please submit your directories by 15th of May! I will keep an updated list of the submitted directories for each of the three categories... If you have new ideeas on how to improve the contest or the rules let me know either here or on DF. Great idea like any knock out competition you need to have some luck as some of the top one's will get knocked out in the earlier rounds as they will be meeting in the early rounds Let the action begin
Naah..it won't be the case because we have 3 different categories... New Directories (PR0 - PR2) Established Directories (PR 3 - PR4) Strong Directories (PR5 +...) You will compete with similar directories only

Its based on PR and PS which is a turnoff for many, should have been based on looks appearance and content instead of pr.
It is based on PR, PS, Backlinks, Traffic, and - Content, Design, Looks, Features, Originality - through a poll where you can vote your favourite directory. PR and PS are just part of the analysing system but not only, so I wouldn't say it is based on that.
Alright hoping to win on the looks and design basis as pr is not so great if only i had an extra 6+ to current pr i would have chances of winning hehe. Cheers

And you call PR 5 Directories strong.... i personally think PR 5 is the base from where directories start becoming strong.... PR 5 directories should be in the established directories section and then i hope to give it a try
Well...yeah...I agree with your point but if PR5 directories would be in the same category with PR 3 then it won't be a fair contest at all. If you have a PR5 directory you should compete with the ones with the same PR as yours or even higher...
