Adsensers it's time to finally make money!

Guys I think this could be a great thread and here's my idea...

Wtat we do is we just add little tips for people to read... You know share your knowledge (it's not going to kill you just share! )

Hopefully they can implement them and start suceeding with adsense...

Anyways I am going to start this off and I hope that a few of you kind folks can help me out so in turn we can help out our fellow adsensers!

Here's my 'tip':

Treat Adsense like a business, diversify, don;t just go with the latest trick out there because eventually google is going to throw something around and bam it probably wont work anymore.... Basically what I am saying is try lots of strategies, if some aren't profitable drop them...

Vice versa keep the profitable ones!

Don't share that adsense tip which makes you $100+ everyday

 

Josiah, good tip.. but what do you mean diversify? Trying different stratgies / color schemes / placements etc?

My Tip

Create Channels for each major section of your site.

Posts page? Make a posts channel.
Archives page? Make an archives channel.
Homepage? Make a homepage channel.

Obvious advice for those of us already doing it, but it took me 1+ year to finally actually do this!

 

My tip: Test, test, test.

Different ad formats work better for different sites. I've had the good fortune to speak by email with a few AdSense publishers whose recommendations I've implemented regarding ad sizes and formats. What I've found is that the way your users use your site (scanning it quickly for information vs. reading each page thoroughly, for example) plays a big role in your click-through rates for AdSense ads. On my site, wide skyscrapers (160x600) and link units are by far my best-performing ads. But for others, leaderboard (728-size) are their best performers.

It really just depends on the content of your site and how users consume it, that's how you get at your best-performing ad groups and formats.

My tip would be to diversify out of adsence. Try some affiliate programs or sell ad space.

Feed your blog with good quality content.
Dress your blog beautifully but simple.
Get rank in high serps
promote your blog to social who have little known about adsense.(They will curious when the see it)
Test and make revise

Here's the best tip anyone can ever give in a nutshell:

Traffic + Well blended ads = $$$

 

My tip : Blend adsense well with your site , i.e : Consider ad sense back ground color and border color, is it ok with you site's background???

Throw lot of mud at the wall - see what sticks. Don't care about niche.

If you want to make $100 / day, learn how to make $1 per day and duplicate the formula.

I agree. You need to be focus and add a quality content every now and then. Giving advice and tips to newbies is the best part. Those who helps always getting more.

My tip: Add a search buttom with Google Search. You can set default searching on your own domain.

 

Work on getting traffic as its the most immortant factor in making money.

 

1. Build your adsense sites one at a time.
2. add pages to your sites gradually.
3. add links pointing to your site gradually.
4. Make use of article submision heavyly.

 

For those that like to think big and are planning a big project that'll require many work hours: traffic first, big project later.

No point in creating something without the traffic. Yes, the project itself can bring traffic. But why risk? There are so many easy ways to secure traffic that there's no point in taking the risk.
