I have Kontera on my sites and they pay very low as far as i see. I wonder the requirements (minimum traffic...) of IntelliTXT? Do they pay better?
i've got kontera on one of my sites, gets like $1 a day or so, nothing overwhelming though.. .haven't tried intellitxt though
I did a limited rollout of Kontera on one of my sites, putting it on some pages. I'm averaging about 9,000 impressions per day and $3 to $5 earning. That yields a CPM of $.50 or less, a little bit too low to get excited about. It suffers from low CTR and low CPC. I think they don't have enough advertisers. For my pages I rarely get the full 5 intext links and most of them are not at all interesting, hence the low CTR. CPC is pretty consistent at around $0.05. I'm hoping they improve, get more advertisers, and pay higher CPC. I plan to leave what is already in place but won't be expanding the rollout on my sites unless I see significant improvement.
As geomark mentioned, Kontera indeed suffer from very few advertisers. I don't see how there algorithm gets adopted to the content when they even don't have any decent number of advertisers. I get a CPM of 0.95 and satisfied with it. @750li - I have not seen any changes in adsense CTR over a month of using kontera. The thing is to use kontera text link same as your site links. If u keep kontera link different as site links, you may get higher CTR but this is may turn the user away.
So far I've found Kontera ContentLink to be better than IntelliTXT in impressions/hooks and clicks: ContentLink Aug1-13: Date Net Imp[?] Clicks CTR Revenue ECPM[?] Total/Avg 10,056 245 2.44% $17.43 $1.73 IntelliTXT Aug1-15 Site Channel Page Views Hooks Clicks example.com example 24828 2294 24
I did not notice any significant change in my Adsense CTR when I added Kontera. @poseidon, Sometimes I see some ridiculous Kontera ads linked to words on my pages, ads that are nonsense in relation to those linked words. If they could get more advertisers and do a better job of linking meaningful ads I think earnings would be significantly better.
