263 clicks, $9.16. Any other proxy owners getting simmilar lame value clicks? Can I do anything to improve this? Change some keywords around maybe? Anyone else getting this? I've been getting paid much more per click a week ago, But now google seemed to significantly lower my per click price....
It is not only you. Look at this, another ex-proxy owner. http://mubinahmed.com/rip-proxies-are-now-officially-dead/ He also agrees that proxies are now dead. They are eating up a lot bandwidth and not returning enough money for the investment now. You might see even lower dollar clicks soon like I did.
Well for my proxies adsense was a bad idea, they went on a banning spree a lot of people got out, and shut down their proxies... as for me, I have yet only advertised(free) 3 out of 100+ proxies and am bringing in 4x the amount adsense ever paid me. And its good, people will say its a bad idea to continue with proxies, they maybe correct, for me, I utilize excess resources and it costs me the same either ways. Though try avoiding adsense on proxies, and if you plan to keep the adsense, then utilize the competitive adfilter option in adsense to block out as many MFA websites that you can. There are websites that can help you with this, but another thing you could do is check out the MFA sites being advertised on your proxies(copy the url, dont click thee ads) and add them to the filter. I know people who are making 2-5x more as soon as they used this... Cheers!!!
its probably a lot of foreign traffic or as you noted possibly being smartpriced.. the proxies i see that cater to us students trying to get on myspace/friendster/etc., have pretty good $/click. i just looked and i averaged around $0.19/click for my proxies for April...
Thank god for Adversal, saving my revenue... But most of my traffic is US Traffic still, 70%+. Also, What are MFA ads? And am I allowed to add them to my competitive filter list? Give me more info on this tecnhique please.
Clicks on mine really varies. Sometimes it's 2 cents per click, then the next day it's 50 cents. I really dont see why google/adsense would have anything against proxies. There are loads of proxy targetted ad campaigns running.
