I live in the boonies.. so nobody here has to worry about having my ISP I can't blame them for giving me up, since it was my careless action. I was actually pretty impressed that I got caught on my first try while downloading a movie 15 years old. I can't believe they'd still worry about pirating a movie from 15 years ago...
I use Peer Guardian Lite (got a huge list of Ip's I'm blocking) and I put it through the ringers on Direct Connect and Bit Torrent. It passed with flying colors but I just download Tv shows now and I get my movies from netflix. I thought that you had to be a seeder on bit torrent.
Well it is safe and in India we have no problems to download anything from the net. But sometimes it also share virus. So be careful with it.
