If a visitor comes to my website, and clicks on 3 different adsense ads each day, will this get me banned when i have nothing to do with it? Because it wouldn't be like they are clicking on the SAME ad everyday and they wouldn't be clicking more than once.
I highly doubt anyone would go to a specific website everyday and click on three ads every day, while making sure that they aren't the same ad. I love how these ambiguous questions aren't so sometimes.
I think it's safe to assume he's clicking his own ads or he's getting a friend to click for him exactly 3 times a day.
so your saying a person visiting my website everyday, and clicking on different ads will get me banned? So none of you have websites with adsense and have had more than 1 click on a ad from the same person?
You may get more than one clicks from the same person and it won't hurt your account. But who on Earth normally goes back to the same site every day, remembers which ads he clicked on the previous days and speciffically clicks 3 others? Honestly, who would do that unless they were trying to cheat the system? There is a specific pattern in this behavior and Google will have no problem detecting it. Not to mention of course that in order to make this work for you and generate some good revenue, you would have to get not 1 but 100 or more people doing this on your site every day. Or in other words, you will be banned for sure and it won't be long before you are here again posting about how Google banned you for no reason.
surely google would not ban me straight away? Don't they give you a warning first and to block the people's ip who are clicking on my ads this way?
if your earnings are low, or the fraud clicks are a high % of your total clicks, I bet they'd just ban you outright without dealing with it.
I've been reading these forums for a year, and a warning is the exception, rather than the rule. Besides, I think Google reads these forums, too, and if they couldn't detect it before, they certainly will be able to in a few days. You are obviously looking for ways to cheat the system. Has it occurred to you that someone with a business actually pays for that click that has zero chance of netting a sale? That you are actually stealing from someone when you cheat? Not the big bad Google, but possibly some little guy just like yourself? And, why, if you are going to try to cheat the system, come here to advertise it? Do you think these forums are secret?
LMFAO!!! WOW MAN! Why bother? All this will do eventually is shut one door on you. Then what? Then you're walking around the house looking for a cracked window or an unlocked door. Dude, give it up. I hope when you do get banned (this goes for your "friends" as well) that if you ever find a cracked window or unlocked door in the future that someone blows your head off as soon as you peek inside. I pay for these clicks man. This isn't cool at all. If you had your own deal going on and you had to pay up would you like it? Of course it happens, like what you're doing isn't obvious you know, but seriously, would you like to pay because some idiot is forcing you to? Or would you rather have REAL potential customers? I for one will go for a lead anyday. And if someone miscellaneously "rips me off" then oh well, what can we do? Just hope Google or whoever catches it so it can be further prevented. What you're thinking isn't nothing new man...Move on. Try to hack the Pentagon or something instead...
They can ban you without warning! If they see the same ip keeps clicking on ads everyday they can ban you. If you have low traffic and only couple clicks per day they might even ban you when someone clicks once everyday.
do not accuse me of cheating. this is a legit question. you said here "you are obviously looking for ways to cheat the system". Isn't it against the forum rules to make allegations like this?
Yes it's true and dont even think about try changing ip to click. google is smarter than you think. Dont think they will give you a kind warning before they ban. many times that they would banned straight away and you dont even noticed. You might would like to ask without a bad intention but yeah like they said your question lead them to think that way, so you cant blame them for that.
