Is this too many Tabs for Firefox?

I have 1 - 8 tabs after 5 It gets to cluttered for me usually! But DAMN! 125... get a life LOL!

I open only around 10 -15 tabs at once

 

That is ultra multitasking... some computers would be dead with so many tabs open!

i've usually got firefox going with anywhere from 2-10 tabs..i've gotten inthe habit,if i havent gone back to a tab in awhile to close it..
Ifi could..i would have 20 tabs open..(i flick through hundreds of sites a day..at least 25% i want to browse further)

i've also got outlook..and sometimes 1 other window of whichever app.
although it starts to slow down after a while.
I'm running 256MB which half gets choked up in something..as it only reads 192MB..

I'm upgrading to 2 gigs of ram soon..can't wait..(i need to ,so i can run photoshop and dreamweaver ff and outlook..LOL)

 

Ya, Ram is everything, this box has 2 gigs, my servers at work run 4 gigs mostly, the terminal servers that is, regular servers don't need anything over a gig.

 

I usually only have two or three tabs open at once. Anymore and I get side tracked and end up forgetting what the other tabs were for.

 

If you really did open all those then wow. But my guess is a viral marketing technique, so each time you open firefox, you open several of their pages on start up, giving them views and very long views

The most I have ever had at once was 20 because I was submitting to topsites.

 

Oh my. I forgot about firefox tabs while doing submissions. The numbers can get up there for directory/topsites/article submissions as well.

Normally the news stories that I want to blog about are open in a tab...but they rarely get blogged about cause I'm busy on my 3 DP tabs open

 

I don't know, maybe it is because I am attention deficit or something, but I can get 30-40 tabs open in a two hour time frame, I just bounce from one thing to another. Man I love Firefox!

 

I regularly have that many tabs open when I'm flying through my control panel, unsubscribing from threads by opening them in new tabs

 

it's easier to do then people think. Especially since I right click open in new tab, I hate losing my place while reading.

 

I only use maximum 10 tabs.

I have 19 open right now, sometimes browsing forums opens a lot with different threads

I think its using 100mb of ram, or something, w/e it has in task manager

You can use tab counter to automatically show the number

 

I average 8.8 tabs per session when replying to subscribed threads on DP but otherwise it's only 3 tabs. I just couldn't handle the massive lag that would occur having more than 20 tabs open at any given time...not the most patient of persons here when ti com to computers

 

~31 tabs, I've closed off some not-so-relevant tabs.
