Politicians have picked up something lately which I think has some meat in it. In the middle east and other regions the islam uses the quran as their constitution, state and government. In Europe meanwhile politicians and lawyers are checking the compatibilty with EU and American constitutions. The findings so far are that the quran is against our constitutions. A new and interresting dialog opens up Personally I am happy to have these subject finally scrutinized. What will the consequences then be?
Yes, because it's a muslim army that is going on plundering the middle east countries one by one under false pretences and justification based on lies. Yes, becuase it is a muslim country that is building a new wall to oppress, chase out and keep a whole country from their own lands while the United Nations watches on Yes, becuase it is a muslim army that provided cluster bombs to another country that bombed a muslim country while everyone knows that the United Nations banned cluster bombs a long time ago Yes, it is a muslim country that is refusing to investigate the events leading up to a terrorist attack that killed thousands of it's own people when there is a reasonable amount of evidence against the 'official theory'
Consequences might be great for all ... say we all respected Friday for the Muslims, Saturday for the Jews and Sunday for the Christians ... we would have a 3 day week-end all the time.
The rules in the Quran are strict and ensure that no one commits crime. If Islamic laws are enforced in a country, it will as peaceful as Saudi Arabia. And I feel sorry for my country ie Pakistan that the politicians have not completely enforced Quran as the constitution and people here are very corrupt.
The rule of law, as separate from the religious beliefs of even a majority of society, is a primary cause of the progress and abundance which the Western world has enjoyed for the last several hundred years. It is my fervent wish that our Muslim brothers will learn the same lesson that we had to learn and decide to live in peace with people of all religions, without trying to enforce the laws of their religions on their fellow countrymen.
The "peace" of having the religious police drag you off the street at any moment and beat you or kill you because they don't like how you are dressed, what you are saying, or who you are associating with. Muslims often get "peace" and "submission" confused. Americans aren't against peace, but we are against submission.
