SEOSTER.com link submission service (not looking good, possible link farm)

i was reading thru the forums a couple of weeks ago and found reference to seoster.com as being a good place to submit your link to and they will publish to 300+ directories for only $15.

well my site was ranked in the 30's for a popular keyword that got searched over 800,000 times per month. I was ranked in the 60's about 6months ago and slowly creeped up to #33 two weeks ago.

the funny thing that amazed me was that i did no submissions to directorys for 2 years and had only about 5 backlinks. but google knew that my site was 100% genuine as i updated it every day and added pages of content and images every month. this was a testimony to me that pure hard work is rewarded in google now a days.

as soon as i used seoster.com to help create backlinks on pr5 directorys my site slowly dropped in rankings and now i am no longer in top 100

anyone offering submissions to 300+ directories for only $15 is using software to do so, which is going to leave a pretty big footprint.

are you aware that it's been public knowledge that gg have been focusing on this for several months now?

At least they did something at Seoster for you. When I applied there and paid nobody ever replied or submitted anything. I complained at the forums and no response either. It does say manual submission though.

    no way to accurately say.

i'd be tempted to do some manual submissions, to sort of 'dilute' the footprint.

    my 2 cents. good luck.

I have heard similar stories about seostar etc. here in Sweden.

Google PENALIZES these services, it seems...

it may be helping a complete new site with no backlinks, but if the site has been around for a while...

It's not difficult for Google to detect these things...

I mean: a site gets around 0-1 links each week.... suddenly it receives 50 links in two days...all with the same text and all on directories.... that's not hard to automatically detect and penalize!

Seoster.com is a newer service, I think. I hired them for their 500 directory submission and it took them about 6 days to complete. I think the $50 I invested was well worth the headache of doing it myself.

I don't care for link submission services, they don't really get you anywhere from my own experience.
